Weird Stuff Wednesday – Mobile Industrial Shredder – Dune Buggy with VW Engine – Lifted Dodge Van

Darrek Olson

It’s that special day of the week again and time for another edition of Weird Stuff Wednesday. This week we found some very unique options available on Carsforsale.com. We like to highlight these strange vehicles because some people are looking to purchase a vehicle that is just as special as they are. We have almost everything for sale on Carsforsale.com, you just have to find the one that fits you.

OusideFirst is this very odd 2007 International 4400 Shredder selling in Canfield, OH. Based on the outside decals of this truck,  it appears to have been previously used by a business that specializes in document management. Open the doors to the back of the truck and you’ll find this is a giant document shredder on wheels. When the small paper shredder over a garbage can just is not going to cut it, this mega shredder definitely will cut it; lots of it too. Paper trail? What paper trail? That situation never happened after this truck rolls away.

Sad RailThis 2004 Assembled Roadmaster from Ardmore, TN was custom built by the original owner. This vehicles features a four-speed Volkswagen motor and was originally made for racing. The name claims it is a road master, but this is perfect for going off-road on any terrain. With seating for four, the entire family can join in on the fun as you plow through sand dunes or muddy pathways with no problem. This made our list of weird things because besides the windshield and hood, there is not much to this thing besides the blue and yellow frame. This sand rail, or dune buggy, also includes turn signals which is a luxury considering these typically include only the bare essentials. They will come in handy when signaling to all those other off-road vehicles when you are making a left turn.

Dodge VanFor sale in Littlerock, CA is this 1972 Dodge Sport Van. People often say that a picture is worth a thousand words. The words that a picture of this vehicle seem to tell us are, “Wow that looks fun to drive”. No obstacle would ever get in your way again from a downed tree branch to a traffic jam on the interstate. However, you will need either a large step ladder or experience as a mountain climber to get inside this giant lifted van. This vehicle is so high off the ground it might be above the 10 foot clearance for a fast food drive-thru. The woman standing in the picture looks like a Barbie doll compared to this vehicle.

If you find any interesting vehicles that you think we should feature in Weird Stuff Wednesday, send them to us. We love finding these interesting custom vehicles within Carsforsale.com.
