The Affordable Tesla Model 3 is Finally Here
Too often, big reveal events are anti-climactic, but the affordable Tesla Model 3 did not disappoint. The Tesla Model 3 is Tesla’s latest weapon, aiming to bring all-electric cars to the masses. While most expected this to look like a cheap Tesla Model S, it looks just as cool, if not cooler than the high-priced Model S or Model X.
Elon Musk immediately makes Tesla’s goal clear in his presentation: to “accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable transport.” This car looks like it will do just that, without falling into the cookie-cutter, slow and ugly EV stigma. More than 115,000 people pre-ordered the Model 3 before even seeing the car. Tesla is doing something right.

30 of 31 Cars Fall Short in New IIHS Headlight Tests
It’s no question that good headlights are vital in driving safely at night. The IIHS is now testing headlight illumination levels during high and low beam modes. Of the first 31 cars tested, only the Toyota Prius V achieved a “good” rating. The IIHS explains the testing in detail in the video below.
