Chicago Auto Show First Look: 2016 Acura RDX

2016 Acura RDX just got its first look at the 2016 Acura RDX luxury crossover SUV from the 2015 Chicago Auto Show. The 2015 Acura RDX was efficient, powerful and sophisticated. Last year’s RDX was also one of the best-selling compact luxury SUVs, but Acura is set to move the bar even higher.

The new RDX hopes to further establish its position as a leader in its segment. Acura has specifically focused on performance, style and safety in their newest RDX.

2016 Acura RDX.The V6 is slightly more powerful than the 2015 RDX with a total output of 279 hp. The fuel economy has improved slightly thanks to the nine-speed automatic transmission; 20/29 mpg (FWD) and 19/28 mpg (AWD).

An updated interior features silver and black trim, standard second-row air conditioning vents and standard heated front seats. Externally, one of the biggest visual changes is Acura’s multi-LED cluster headlight and LED rear headlights.
