Bon Voyage, Dodge Viper

We gather here today to remember the sports car we knew as the Dodge Viper. Sadly, 2017 will be the final model year of the Dodge Viper. To commemorate this vehicle, Dodge is releasing 5 special edition 2017 models on June 24. These cars, shown below, are a beautiful way to send off this iconic car. Rumor has it there may be a replacement model for the Viper in the future, but we have found no concrete evidence to suggest this.

Tesla Model 3 Spotted

Since the unveiling on March 31st, fans have been eagerly waiting for the Tesla Model 3. Tesla’s latest project, the Model 3 is going to be the most affordable Tesla available, and it looks incredible. It’s going to be a while before these cars are in production, but one was recently spotted on video in Palo Alto, California, the home of the Tesla Motors HQ.  More than 115,000 people pre-ordered the Model 3 before the car was even unveiled, so it’s safe to say the hype for this car is unprecedented.

Star Trek Actor Anton Yelchin Killed by Jeep Grand Cherokee, FCA Investigates

According to Los Angeles police, Anton Yelchin was pinned to a fence by his own 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. FCA, owner of Jeep, is currently investigating the incident.

How does this happen? It most likely stems from the 1.1 million vehicle recall we reported on in May of this year based on FCA’s newer 8-speed automatic shifter. The shifter in question always returns to its middle position after shifting. This has caused some driver’s to falsely believe the vehicle is in Park, and exit while it is still in gear. Unfortunately, when parked on a slope like Anton Yelchin was, this mistake can be extremely dangerous.

Mitsubishi Mirage G4 Sedan Arrives at Dealerships

Mitsubishi’s inexpensive compact economy car, the Mitsubishi Mirage, now has a sedan option. The 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 also carries a low price tag, with a base MSRP of $13,995. Generally, the hatchback option carries a higher price tag than the sedan, so we’re interested to see if the G4 offers more in its base trim than the hatchback Mirage.
