GM and Honda Team Up to Create Fuel Cells

General Motors and Honda publicly announced their partnership in 2013, but they recently took that partnership to the next level. These companies plan to pool their resources to reduce the cost of manufacturing fuel cells, a process that is currently quite expensive.

What does this mean? Hydrogen fuel cell cars are coming fast. Fuel cell cars may be a viable, affordable, and accessible option faster than most had expected. Honda and GM aren’t the only companies teaming up. Toyota is allegedly sharing technology with BMW. Daimler is allegedly collaborating with Nissan and Ford.
